INTRODUCTION

This document sets out the policies to promote road safety for all employees of Quick Help S.A.S, which are an integral part of the Strategic Road Safety Plan, defined by the company and is widely and completely disseminated to company personnel, through inductions, training, safety talks, written material and awareness campaigns, among others.

Failure to comply with any of the following elements will result in disciplinary action in accordance with the internal Human Talent procedures.

GENERAL ROAD SAFETY POLICY

Quick Help S.A.S is committed to safely managing the mobility of all employees, both plant and contractors, by allocating the necessary resources for the development of activities aimed at promoting road culture among the different road users, the continuous improvement of processes and compliance with current national legislation.

Quick Help S.A.S establishes that the identification, analysis, and control of the risks of transportation and mobilization operations must be included in each of the daily activities, and for this purpose it determines:

  1. The consumption of alcohol, tobacco and/or psychoactive substances is prohibited during the operation.
  2. Compliance with the speed limits established at the national level is mandatory on all national roads, whether urban or rural.
  3. The use of mobile communication systems is prohibited when the vehicle is in operation.
  4. The use of seat belts is mandatory for all vehicle occupants.
  5. The use of Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory, depending on the type of vehicle and operation.
  6. Vehicle maintenance must be carried out in accordance with legal regulations.

This policy is mandatory for all Quick plant personnel and contractors who carry out activities for Quick.

The Road Safety Policy is disclosed to staff during HSE Onboarding, Induction, Re-induction and training and coaching activities related to road safety; as well as its publication in the Kawak document management system and notice boards at Quick facilities and work centres when possible.

To comply with the policies, the Executive Directorate allocates the necessary financial, human and technical resources; it will be the workers' commitment to comply with the policy approved on June 6, 2017.

POLÍTICA DE REGULACIÓN DE HORAS DE CONDUCCIÓN Y DESCANSO

Quick Help S.A.S, seeks to guarantee optimal performance of its operations within the framework of road and industrial safety. Likewise, within these policies, the practice of active breaks will be implemented as a mandatory measure to promote and regulate adequate rest for drivers. Consequently, the programs implemented under this policy must:

  1. Establish rest and relaxation times to prevent fatigue.
  2. Establish active breaks of 15 minutes for every 4 or 5 continuous hours of driving. (Stretching exercises).
  3. Include training topics on sleep and rest habits, nutrition and exercise which can prevent fatigue in workers.
  4. Monitor and evaluate traffic incidents or accidents likely to be caused by tiredness or fatigue.
  5. Drivers may not exceed the stipulated service hours by a maximum of 8 hours per day, and must comply with a minimum rest period of 7 hours per day.

SPEED REGULATION POLICY

Without exception, all drivers of Quick Help S.A.S., contractors, subcontractors and interest groups, who transport members of the client's merchandise or third parties, must comply with the speed limits established in current regulations (National Traffic Code) and the limits established for the facilities of Quick Help S.A.S. and its clients. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in no case shall a vehicle in the service of Quick Help S.A.S. exceed the speed of 80 km/h on national or departmental highways, 60 km/h on urban roads and municipal roads, and 30 km/h in school or residential zones.

SEAT BELT USE POLICY

The use of seat belts is mandatory for drivers of vehicles in the service of Quick Help S.A.S and for passengers located in the front or rear seats of the vehicle, on all roads in the national territory, including urban roads, and even on short journeys in accordance with the current National Traffic Code regulations.

The driver and the user who use seats with installed safety belts must use them appropriately during normal driving of the vehicle in such a way that it does not restrict the freedom of movement of the driver and the user and the risk of bodily injury in the event of an accident is reduced.

PERSONAL PROTECTION ELEMENTS USE POLICY

Quick Help S.A.S provides workers with appropriate protective elements to prevent accidents and occupational diseases in such a way that safety and health at work are reasonably guaranteed. In order for these personal protective equipment and elements to offer the worker the required protection, the following aspects are considered:

  1. Ensure the allocation of necessary resources for the supply of required personal protective equipment and elements.
  2. Provide certified personal protective equipment and elements, appropriate to the nature of the risk, the requirements of our business partners, their use and the PPE matrix, so that they meet the conditions of safety and efficiency for the user.
  3. Train in the use and care of personal protective elements and equipment.
  4. Periodically inspect the use and condition of personal protective equipment and items.
  5. Immediately replace damaged items and personal protective equipment.

It is the responsibility of the company's employees:

  1. It is mandatory to use the assigned personal protective equipment and elements appropriately, out of commitment to your own safety.
  2. Properly care for the elements and personal protective equipment required for exclusive use in company work.
  3. Report to the Immediate Manager and/or HSE personnel the lack or deterioration of personal protective elements and equipment.
  4. Do not start work if you do not have the elements or personal protection equipment required according to the nature of the risk.
  5. Report the non-use or improper use of personal protective equipment and elements by colleagues or personnel in charge. In accordance with the role played within the Single Regulatory Decree 1072 of 2015, it is the obligation of workers to use the personal protective elements required by the current regulations on the matter.

POLICY ON NO USE OF MOBILE EQUIPMENT

The use of communication equipment is prohibited while driving a vehicle in the service of Quick Help S.A.S.. The following are the minimum operating requirements:

  1. The use of cell phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), printers, handheld devices, tablets, convergent devices, text messaging devices, computers, and other mobile electronic devices (whether owned by another person or company-owned) is prohibited while the vehicle is in motion. The use of hands-free devices while the vehicle is in motion is also prohibited.
  2. If it is necessary to make a mobile phone call at any time while driving a vehicle, the driver must stop the vehicle in a safe place where the call can be made.
  3. Drivers will not wear headphones or other devices while operating a vehicle.
  4. GPS systems must be programmed prior to the start of the trip and not during the course of vehicle operation. The use of maps for route planning must also be completed prior to operating the vehicle.

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE POLICY

Quick Help S.A.S provides workers with appropriate protective elements to prevent accidents and occupational diseases in such a way that safety and health at work are reasonably guaranteed. In order for these personal protective equipment and elements to offer the worker the required protection, the following aspects are considered:

  1. Performed within the time and according to the technical specifications defined by the manufacturer.
  2. If a fault is identified in the vehicles, you must go to a mechanical center and notify your immediate supervisor.
  3. Carried out by qualified and competent personnel, with original tools and equipment or those approved for the function, and by a mechanical centre recognised and endorsed by the Ministry of Transport or the manufacturer.
  4. Ensure that the parts used in repairs are original or approved by the manufacturer.
  5. Each driver and owner is responsible for monitoring and complying with the Maintenance Plan for their vehicle, assuming the respective costs, and must report to the security area and to the Coordinator or Leader of the process.
  6. Compliance with strategies established by the company in mobility, environment, safety and health at work, and quality.

As an organizational control, it was defined that the security area, together with the Coordinators and Leaders of the operations and projects, periodically verify:

  1. Compliance with maintenance schedules for vehicles in the service of Quick.
  2. Documentary records (invoice and minutes of disposition by the maintenance center) provided by each driver.
  3. Constant updating of vehicle files with preventive and corrective maintenance supports.
